The Daniel Augsburger Society
The Daniel Augsburger Society is comprised of friends of Andrews University who share our passion for educating young people. With foresight and generosity, they are committed to ensuring the next generation of young Seventh-day Adventists receives a transforming Christian education. They accomplish this through planned gifts and by remembering Andrews in their estate plans. We'd love to have you join an ever-growing number of individuals who are helping Andrews in this way.
You are eligible to be a member of The Daniel Augsburger Society if you have remembered Andrews University through some type of charitable gift plan. This might include one of the following planned giving methods:
- Bequest in Your Will or Trust: The simplest and
most frequently used planned gift option is a direct
bequest in your will or trust. To remember Andrews
University in your will or estate plan, gifts should
be directed to: Andrews University, a nonprofit
educational institution, organized and existing under
the laws of Michigan, with the business address of
8903 U.S. Hwy 31, Berrien Springs MI 49104-0645.
Andrews University is tax exempt under section
501(c) of the Internal Revenue Code.
- Andrews Charitable Gift Annuity: Charitable gift
annuities are a simple contract between you and
a charity. In exchange for your gift to Andrews
University, you will receive tax benefits and lifelong
fixed payouts.
- Retirement Assets: Since retirement assets
are often subject to income tax, they can be an
especially attractive gift. These may be fixed or
percentage gifts and can be easily made through
your beneficiary designation.
- Life Insurance: The value of life insurance is easily overlooked. If your needs have changed, and your policy is no longer necessary, this can make an excellent gift vehicle.
